Hey all,
I've had my CCs for months now and they grow like mad but the color is so blah. I had them high and they bleached so I moved them low and they are just a pink and gold with a light green center. The contrast between the colors isn't there and the skirts are really long with no pink stripes. Any suggestions?

Ive tried everything and I gave up, my originals never looked like the picture to begin with, hard to say what works on these guys.

I got them straight from Tod and they looked awesome when I got them.

Do you feed them Fauna Marin? I bought some and it has helped my zoas color up nicely. I bought a single polyp Medusa about 5 weeks ago, now have 4 and the yellow center is looking great along with the speckles in the skirt. It has helped my other zoas too. Not sure if it truly is the reason, but worth trying.

Super low as in shaded? They are in direct light right now.

sorry to break this to you as i don't know where you got them to begin with but if you purchased them sight unseen (pic only), then most likely they were blasted with actinics or photoshopped pretty heavily. That's the only reason I prefer to buy corals I see in person myself and if only under blue light (led or actinics), I ask the vendor to turn on the whites as well. Good luck and hope they "color up".

My cherry charms are 12" under my 6 bulb Tek light and have great color, just like the pics.

They like a lot of light. I would suggest slowly moving them up. They also like lots of flow.

I didn't get them sight unseen. I bought them in person. They looked great when I got them. I will try moving them up. Thanks. :)
