I think I might splurge and upgrade to the 350. I want to get a lid asap so I don’t have to wait for the lid after I get the tank. Clearview is saying they want to get the internal dimensions of the tank but aren’t these uniform between 350s? Also any recommended cutouts besides a food door?

No, they're not uniform. Some 350 models have thicker glass and corner bracing. Clearview offers some "WYSIWYG" lids for a reduce price - but the openings are fixed.

Food door (or spot for an automated feeder), lights, spots for cables to feed through, maintenance, etc.

Ahh okay. For the max don’t all the cables, lights etc hook up to the back so the lid should just be flush with the back end of the black backing?

Yes, unless you mount powerheads other than Vortechs. I believe Clearview has some default slots for cables - you'll just have to double-check.

Is the backing raised at all on this tank? I am just double checking that I don’t need any modifications with the back of the lid. I will just use the stock led 90s

No, the top of the 350 is flat all the way around. The lid on the overflow is recessed.

I love my clearview. Mine is in 2 sections so I have a feed door in each section. Small cutout in the back for probes and ground. I highly recommend getting the plank feeder and having a cutout gor thst.
