Hi, I have just setup my first CaRx for my main tank in the leaving room and because I have small children I am a bit para kid about potential leaks.

When I opened the main valve of the canister there was a loud whhossshh sound and I could feel a strong breeze in my hand.
This lasted about 2 seconds and after that the sound was gone and I can no longer feel the breeze with my hand on the regulator.

Is there a way to be shire that there are no leaks anywhere? Any measurement equipment that can detect CO2?

Many thanks and kind regards!

Open the tank valve, then close it. Watch the pressure gauge and if it drops you have a leak.

Thanks! Can you elaborate a bit further? Do you mean the main valve in the tank? Because when that one was closed the pressure gauge was at zero. It only shot up after opening the main tank valve.

Yep, close off the gas needle valve going to your reactor. Then open the main tank valve. The pressure should shoot up to just under 900psi. When you turn off the main tank valve that pressure should stay steady. If it starts dropping down at all you have a leak somewhere in the regulator or at the tank connection.
