For some reason in all my past and present Aquariums my red corals never stay bright always fade and turn to dull red I had a icp test any idea to why also coral growth is getting slower

I am not a believer in all the hoopla (mostly driven by commercial sellers of additives) that tries to tie specific colors or color issues to specific metals in or lacking in the water.

Unfortunately, i do not have confidence in that ICP company to suggest actions based on their results.

If the iodine is low, it is a fine experiment to dose some, although many of us have not found it to be useful.

I bought some brightwell aquatics iodine and I started trying that I wonder is the salt to blame. is synthetic as good as natural salt mix

Iodine can fully deplete in a few days as algae consumes it.
