Okay so as some of you know i have a Eshops 300 Sump, i need to convert it to circle Micron filter bags instead of these Rectangle eshopp bags. its just getting wayyyyyyyyy to expensive spent over 1,000$ on these filter bags cause tehre 11-15$ i do have a understanding that there is something you can slip into the rectangle piece and its a converter for the circle filter bags. i just don't no what it is called.

if anyone can help me. Thanks in advanced and highly appreciated.

Would the eshopps bag holder work for you? I have an eshopps sump too, but the smaller model so it came with the circular socks. Is there any way you can wash the rectangular socks? I put mine on a delicate cycle with a bit of bleach and let them dry out. I have three pairs I cycle. It helps save on costs.

^^^^Agreed, I also keep a 5 gallon bucket with bleach to let them soak as I use the socks, once I'm down to my last one, I run them in the washer.

I had the same issue...I ended up ditching the rectangle bag and bought some draw string mesh bags. I figured it would be much easier to get them off when it's time to change them.

well i need the acrylic piece that slides into the rectangle holder and it has a circl holder under it to convert it to circle bags. These are getting to expensive every other week buying new ones.

Do you reuse the filter socks at all or are you using them once and tossing them?

X2.. I have the same sump and back when i was using them, i had my collection of 4. Just switch them out when they're dirty, turn them inside out, and just toss em in the washer. Some people use bleach but i never did, just normal cycle with no soap and they came out clean.

I have two filter socks that I just switch out one at a time, and throw the dirty one in the washer on a small load with hot water, no soap or bleach. Has been working fine.

Washing them is really easy and they will save you a bunch on buying new socks. It also helps the environment and leaves more money in your pocket for new coral. However, if you don't want to go that route, maybe you can get a piece of acrylic from Home Depot. They can very easily be cut to size using a utility knife. You have to score it, and then snap. To make the holes for the socks, you can trace the circumference you need and then use a drill to make the cuts. You have to be careful though bc the acrylic can and will melt. Check online for detailed directions.

i use them for 2weeks then toss them we dont wash them.

alright some of you didnt get whatt im asking.
