Hi I have got a Copperband butterfly, but he doesnt eats anything I give it. Have tried frozen bloodworms, frozen artemia and clams.
Have ordered some frozen mysis and masstick which is on the way and will be trying those soon. Sadly where I live I do not have access to live blackworms only ABW(freeze dried)

He roams around the tank and is pretty inquisitive at the rockwork.

Pls help. It's only been 3days keeping him.

ive have one... for about a year, he is healthy BUT.... He will only eat live black worms!... but in cases where I couldn't get them for some reason, I do have a pack of Aquarum Freeze dried black worms (on amazon)... he will eat those! (not as enthusiastically) he was pecking a few months ago at mastic, but is not interested anymore.. its a real pain but he is my fav fish @FelixAlexanderV

Ok I will give the freeze dried ones a shot too. Thx.
Btw is the head jitter normal? Like in the video?
I can't see the video for some reason, but I know what you are talking about!

he usually does it when he knows im about to give him food lol

Any reason for posting this again in the same forum?

EDIT : Ah checked times 1 minute apart. Looks like maybe the ol double post that we love so well. Sorry if I came accross rude

Live black worms have worked for me. Mine also eats earthworms but I keep mine alone until it starts eating so there is no competition for food and he can eat as slow as he wants. I just posted in a thread the other day about what works for me to get them eating. It's post #2 if your interested.

Mine likes PE Mysis and Brine Shrimp as well as pecking what he can get in the rocks.

Have you tried ordering live blackworms from Eastern Aquatics? They are always in stock.
