Thank you. They guy who sold it to me said leptastrea but once I got home and looked it up I was sure he was wrong. Sadly he’s been wrong about a lot. Still happy with it. I love the color. It can be a vibrant orange under some lighting.

It’s pretty... it’s possible it’s a Lepto, but they’re tentacles are generally a LOT longer and more sporadic instead of all the way across... my little baby 1/2 frag would have tentacles up to 1” long, so if it is a Lepto, def keep it away from other corals. They’ve got a pretty potent sting

He had like 30 frags and was reading off of a confusing sheet of sloppily handwritten page and counting from each side to figure out what was what. I saw some that seemed like they were lepto after i looked them up. This one was definitely different from those. So I bet you’re right. Doesn’t really matter to me. I’m really new and just trying to get the mistakes lll surely make out of the way and have some pretty corals before I start a big tank.

Looks very much like hairy mushroom

Will throw a few names and see if these come close. Lithophyllon and Psammocora. I know Pavona has been suggested by others but just a few more potential IDs to help you.

Lithophyllon
