I just started to add coral to my tank and I'm looking to buy new lights to help the coral grow and be happy. I was looking at this light and was wondering what you all think. Good? Or waste of money? Thanks for reading.

Not enough par from either of these for coral. I have been able to grow some zoa's, trumpets with a Chinese (ebay, $100) 120w led. But, still not enough par. I just upgraded for better growth. Currently I have a 38g. You're going to have to throw down some bucks to grow corals especially on lighting.

I started with two AI hydra 26 on my 3'x3'x2' cube but that was not enough light. I had to get a 250watt MH pendant for the center. Now the corals are growing.

what size is your tank? t5 ho well grow anything 4 bulbs or more ,but if your stuck on led I think the ocean revive Arctic-so26 led is the best bang for your buck

I have two of the 120w dimmable fixtures over my 120 gal. softie/lps tank. coral are doing great and the whites are set at 50% and blue at 75%. not bad for the money and much better than the Marineland.
