My coral is looking skinny and loosing color.

Wonder what species it is and whats the best placement help I can provide.

I don't want to open another thread for another coral. So can you guys tell me if this is normal? It's a war coral.

I’m afraid it is not normal since it is loosing color. Have you tried to move it up or down inside the tank?
 
It was growing fast and fine a few weeks ago, so the position shouldn't be a problem.

No nitrates or phosphates in the tank...
 
Those corals should be in the sand for now. Also what is your alkalinity? Chalices are the first to have issues with alkalinity.
its the first thing I check always when having an issue.
