Your nitrates are pretty high so that could be bothering them. However, api nitrate test kits are notoriously innaccurate so it might be worth bringing a water sample to your lfs to double check. I would also check your ammonia, nitrite, and temperature.

Zoas are also prone to predation. Inspect them carefully for any pests such as zoa eating nudibranch. Dipping them might help as well, even if you don't see anything.

A water change also might help to correct any parameters that are off balance. And at the very least it would help with your nitrates.

Yeah ive been wanting to get a red sea pro test kit or hannah checkers and zoas were bought from a man i trust and says he dips them twice before keeping them in his frag tanks

You need more flow in the tank.
Are you using rodi water?

Ill invest in a small wavemaker thank you!
Are you on rodi?

another note, I notice some brown mulm and such on the rocks. time for more snails. Some algaes give off yucky stuff. dinos being the most famous. so keeping that stuff down is important. Gac, granular activated carbon will remove a lot of that kind of chem warfare.

Yeah im using rodin and currently i have two snails but there is baby ones popping up around my tank and i do in fact need better carbon

cool.
Test your ammoina from time to time in the new tank. it could be an issue from die off. kinda normal really. I like to add bottled bacteria as well. Maybe a placebo but is worked for me.
bigger snails will really help.

Great in every weekly water change i put one cap of bacteria, sometimes Stability from
Seachem another time Microbacter 7 from Brightwellaquatics and any issue

Yeah your Nitrate is kinda high. Need to bring it down a bit. As for the zoa you can try dipping them in Coral RX or freshwater dip to kill of any bugs. I also agreed on some flow would help.

My zoas do best in the highest flow areas. The only way I know this is because I had them at 2 different parts of my tank. 1 was open the other did not. Tried moving the 1 that didn't open higher up in the tank so it would get more light and no change. Then I moved it back down and aimed my powerhead at it and it opened up within a few hrs.
