Help with critter ID please

I’ve recently seen these popping up all over the place in my tank. I’ve never noticed them before and I haven’t added anything to the tank for the last month. They were all over my glass cleaner, on my gyre, and all over the sump. Any idea what they are? They’re quite small - maybe 1/16” - 1/8” long for the biggest ones.

Pineapple sponges, filter feeders, good guys.

Good to know. There are so many that popped up recently it’s a relief to know they’re harmless. I already dealt with aiptaisa and I didn’t want to have to deal with another pest.

Scrape and suction some when you do water change to reduce population.

That works. I’ll let them run their course and if they get out of control, they’ll get the scraper.
