Ok so i bought a used tank to setup and get cycled then tear down old tank. As i was setting up new tank i caused a leak on the old tank that could not be fixed. So i now have had to put all my fish in the new tank. I used almost all 75 gallons from the old tank but now i am seeing it start to go through a cycle. Any way to help keep all my fish safe.

I know i made a mistake putting the fish in the tank but had no choice. Any advice or help would be greatly appreciated

Keep a lot of fresh SW handy to fight off any ammonia & nitrates. Run carbon if you can. Good surface agitation. Feed sparingly! Just watch for ammonia spikes.

Thanks it is at .25 ammonia now i will change some water in the morning

I did use my live rock from the old tank. So i believe it will not amount to much just wanted some advice from others who have been keeping saltwater longer
