Help with cycle

I’ve been cycling my tank for about two weeks now using bottled bacteria and ammonium chloride. On the Dr Tim’s website it says to add ammonia when both ammonia and nitrite are below 1ppm. If ammonia is below 1 and nitrite is above 1 should I still add more ammonia or wait until both test under 1ppm. Thanks!

Put a raw shrimp in there. Keep the lights off for a few weeks. BRS did a video on the WWC method of cycling. You can find it easily. It’s a good video. Explains a lot.
