Everyone I am at that cross roads with my 90 gallon mixed reef build: Which design to use for my scape? I like both, pricing isn't in play here, just which one do you like better?

Option 1: Bonsai Scape from West Mariculture. I would use the first picture on the left side (looking at the tank) and the second on the right side (looking at the tank) with overhang towards the middle. They look big but really are that huge, I have the dimensions above the picture. Love the negative space this look creates, really allows you to focus on the corals

Option 2: I designed this rock scape. The tarp underneath is to scale and the box in the back is just a little shorter in height and width of the tank. I really like the natural rock and the caves for the fish and shrimp.

Height is about 15" at the tallest point and each rock structure is about 17" wide.

Here is where the tank is going. Built into the back of my bar so you will only see from the front and angles. You will not be able to see in through the side of the tank.

I truly am stuck on this as both look nice to me. My wife likes the Bonsai better, but I don't really count her, lol, jk!

Great job on the rock scape!
My vote though is for the two bonsai structures. You'll have lots of space for frags as well nice flow of water throughout. I wish I had done this, and will once I upgrade. Either way, it's going to look great!

Thank you for the kind words. So tough to decide.

There might be more surface are on the rock scape for bacteria and coraline algae? Plenty of room behind the bar for a frag tank. Sorry, but the bonsai structures look unnatural, like giant frag rack...
I have 90 in living room, natural rock wall, 220gal. in the back room, same water in 5 other vessels (frags, fuge, etc.)

I like ur point of view. This is what I hoped this thread would do, make me think outside the box.
