I have an exquisite fairy wrasse in quarantine for 6 weeks. 2 days into it I noticed a single white patch on it's side. I stopped Prazi treatment, did a water change, and started Kanaplex for 10 days with 2 days overlap in copper. Brought copper up to what I thought was 2.0ppm. 3 days later I received the Hanna copper tester and measured 2.9ppm. I adjusted level to 2.0 and maintain for 30 days. Toward the end of copper treatment the white spots developed. So, the fish didn't get full Prazi treatment. Any ideas what the spots are?

A bit hard to tell from the pictures. Are the white areas raised up a bit and cottony or cauliflower like in texture? Or are they flat? If the prior, probably lympho; if the later, probably bacterial infection.

Flukes are what I was thinking because it hasn't gotten the second prazi treatment. They don't seem to be moving. I am in the process of removing copper for Prazi. I did a freshwater dip 5 days ago. There were several white things at bottom after 5 min. Do you think another dip?

Another thing I was considering, does it look like skin reaction to copper? It had exposure of 2.9ppm for 3-4 days, then 27 days at 2.0ppm

I doubt it's a reaction. If you have had them in copper for 30 days at the therapuetic level, you can remove the copper and start prazi.

A 5 min FW dip will provide temporary relief until copper is gone and you start prazi.
