72 gallon been up for about 4 months now. Having great success so far, I have 2 clowns, 2 Cardinals, 1 six line wrasse, 1 yellow Tang, 1 diamond goby, 1 coral banded shrimp, about 10 turbo snails and maybe 15 to 20 hermits. I have noticed the dry rock starting to turn really green and my sand bed seems to be getting dirtier and dirtier. I test my water daily and all parameters are within ideal range. (pH 8, ammonia, nitrite, nitrate all 0, alk 9.3, ca 425, mg 1350, salinity 1.024, temp 81) I may be overfeeding I guess. I also have various frags of coral and a bubble tipped anemone. All livestock looks healthy and all coral seem to be growing and happy. Do I just need to up the CUC?

maybe just vacuum the sand. unless you have a DSB.

Great video! I do the exact same thing as Broadfield to get the detritus in suspension to be skimmed out. I pay special attention to the sand under and around rocks as a lot of detritus gets trapped there and siphon the sand with a gravel vac every few weeks. It's amazing how much settles out over just a couple days, though I do feed 2-3 times a day.
