Help with disease identification on mandarin

I’ve had this mandarin a little over a week. I noticed very early on that on one spot it’s skin appeared to be shedding or peeling. It’s gotten worse and now that spot appears to be a big open wound or sore. No other fish appear to be affected at all.

Who knows what this is?

It looks like a bacterial infection.
