ok so I have this beautiful Duncan I’ve had for over a month now it always has long tenticals and flowing in the current but today I come home to closed like this. Could me moving my hammer coral above it have a thing to do with it. Or do they have there days to do this don’t think my water is off haven’t tested to tell the truth but all my other corals are doing great

Nope haven’t changed anything other than moved my hammer coral from the sand to above it. It’s tenticals are coming out a little now. Would it having 4-5 new heads sprouted on it have a thing to do with it

I would just wait a day and see how it looks, something like a fish or crab could have made it shrink in some. Hammer can have sweepers and sting corals around them I cant tell how far apart they are but maybe just move the hammer away and see what happens

Our Duncan is EXTREMELY sensitive to movement in the vicinity. Sometimes it recovers within minutes, other times it can take a few days.
