Help with ETSS skimmer

I" had this skimmer for about six months I love it, it pulls some nice dark green sludge for the first week after cleaning then loses its foam head any body have xperience with these skimmers if not I'm gonna have to get something different. Thanks in advance for the help.

I think all skimmers loses the foam head after cleaning but shouldn't last long. Clean skimmer neck will keep it running more efficient. Mine also lose head when I've got my hands in the tank.

Yea, I agree.. Leave it be. It should take off again in a few hours or a day.

yeah this would be fine but its been since Friday at least I think Ill try and contact the people at etss and see if maybe the skimmer is too big for my setup I think its rated for 250 callons and im running it on a 55 with 15 gal of sump fuge space im getting ready to add a 29 gal display fuge to the system so well see what happens after that thNK YOU GUYS FOR THE INFO I HOPE ETSS IS STILL A COMPANY WOOPS CAPLOCK I have read their online pdf file manual on these skimmers so hopefully they have good customer support and all I need to do is add some more fish lol to up the bioload and have more waste to skim out thanks for listening happy reefing

Oh yes I love the interweb a quick gooogle search turned up the etss site is down but I found a 40 page thread on these skimmers on the RC woohoo my prayers have been answered
