You just have to trade it in when it gets to big. For future of the tank I would go with a kole or TommiThank you. The Sailfin is big, bigger then anything else in there. How big do they usually get?
Wow !!!A foot and a half across. A fellow reefer had one in a 450 gallon tank (full grown) and that tank looked too small.
Do you have a problem with nitrate levels and/or algae feeding them every day?I feed hearty 2 times a day and nori but I do have a good export system.
No I have a good skimmer and chaeto in the fuge I could probably feed more than that if I wanted to I have no bad algae..Do you have a problem with nitrate levels and/or algae feeding them every day?
Okay, thanksNo I have a good skimmer and chaeto in the fuge I could probably feed more than that if I wanted to I have no bad algae..
I will look into that. The chaeto eats nutrients that bad algae needs to grow. So therefore no bad algae.
I feed twice a day. Frozen in the morning and pellets in the evening. How often do you feed your fish? I have 3 tangs (Sailfin, hippo and a Yellow tang), 2 clowns, a Percula in a 90 gallon tank. I've heard a couple times a day, once a day, 3 times per week?
