I just finished cycling my MP25 and added my first fish and coral..during cycling, I removed the filter sock and carbon and now want to know if I can place additional bio balls in the second chamber along with the bio ball that came with it..in my first chamber I have inTank media basket with filter floss in upper shelf and carbon in lower shelf, second chamber hold bio balls and sponge on top, third chamber hold return pump, ATO sensor..now to wait for the ugly stage to hit, keeping fingers crossed.

Yes you can place more bio balls in if needed and you have the space

Yes, you absolutely can.

However, it may not make much of a difference, presuming you have plenty of live rock as biological filtration, which is the case with most marine aquariums. :D
