My laundry room is also going to serve as the fish room. I plan on installing the RODI system in there, along with the water storage tanks, and shelves/cabinets for the miscellaneous supplies. There is a floor drain installed which will come in handy.

Right now there is rough plumbing for a sink (1/2” cpvc hot and cold lines and a drain coming out of the wall. I plan on installing a counter top over the washer and dryer, then a sink where the plumbing comes out of the wall. It has been a while since I worked with plumbing from scratch.

My question is...what kind of fittings should I install under the sink where the rough plumbing is? Pictures or links to products would be awesome :)
*was thinking about using a water faucet type fitting (in addition to the normal cut offs and John Guest fittings for the rodi) so I can hook up a water hose if needed and I can use the water hose adapter on the RODI if needed.

Also trying to decide if I want to tuck the RODI away under the sink or hang it on the wall for easy filter changes.

Yeah, definitely have a permanent hookup for the RO/DI (with a valve). MOST of them come with a standard garden hose 3/4" connector. However, I use a 'sharkbite' 1/4" compression fitting T connection which is in line with my cold water line, but T's off to the 1/4" line to my RO/DI. You can then use a simple 1/4" John-Guest valve to turn it off and on.

Also have the filter were they are easy to change:)
