I have been trying to eliminate the dead spots in my 125 gallon reef tank and so far i have not been too successful. As of now I am running 3 Koralia 850 power heads, 1 Maxi Jet 1200 power head and a Jabeo DTC 12000 return pump running at 80%.

I move each power head separately and then check the flow after a few hours to see if its helped eliminate an area where I had a dead spot and so far I have been unable to eliminate all of the dead spots? Just wanting to see if this is a common issue with a larger tank or if anyone has suggestions or solutions.

(I have adjusted the colors in the picture so its easier to see the power head locations)

It really can be a challenge, and the more complex your rock work, the bigger the challenge gets. Some times using more smaller powerheads is better than a few larger ones.
