Help with flow in Red Sea 250

hi I’m looking for suggestions / opinions on how to have my flow running on my Red Sea 250

I currently have mp10s on the back wall and had a Red Sea wave 25 on one side( not sure if that is overkill or not?)

I have the mp10s on about 30-40s and considering replacing them for Nero 3 or 5 as it has been annoying with placing them since it is not recommended for glass thickness.

therefore if I was to get Nero 3s should I place on back wall or side?

I have 2 Nero 3's both on the back wall of my reefer 250, I run them on random with one on a max of 70% and one on a max of 80%. The flow is perfect for now, I may need to put a wave on the side once the SPS get big.

Each tank will differ depending on things like rock structure and coral placement.
Figure out what areas have enough flow, not enough, too much and try to adjust from there.
You want to try to avoid dead spots but also have calmer areas for coral that need that.

I placed a gyre on each side of the overflow in the rear of the tank. I like the flow to wrap around the outside of the tank and then back into the center. This is both because of my rock structure, and the fact that I can 'hide' the gyres.

this is helpful i have 2 icecap gyres 1k so simuliar pump same tank. what % or program you running the pumps? I have mine kinda like pick 1 but i kinda wana change now. Tank is super new but my rock scape is super open scaped

oooo your running a coralview controller? Mine have seperate little controllers. I want them on one so i can set the other to reverse of the other easier but cant find that Icecap/coralview make that contoller any more other then the hydros, but im running an apex

I have them on mine as well, but only for the ability to toggle them for feeding mode or emergencies or what not

So your running 2 controllers on 1 tank? Apex and a hydros
