Help with goldfish EMERGENCY

This is a seachem ammonia alert badge. It gives constant reading and I think it's inexpensive. I believe you can buy it at petsmart. Amquel is a good product too for ammonia spikes.

How long am I going to have to do water changes? When will my tank be ready and cycled and I don't have to do water changes as often as every day? This is the ammonia level now, freshwater kit

Looks to me like a lime green

Is that a zero reading?
If your biological filter is there and none of the fish are having problems then you keep doing them if the ammonia is zero.
How is the fish?

If there is slight ammonia, and you did a water change, maybe just put some prime to neutralize the ammonia. Is that reading before or after you did the water change?
Amquel could be a little better but both are supposed to be able to neutralize ammonia.

Did you do the water change, treated the water with prime?
Filters are running?
Prime should neutralize any ammonia you have if it's a small amount generally. Your filters should reestablish themselves over time.
I hope your fish are doing well now.

Did the good water change with prime, added some aquarium salt just cause I had it. Filters running. Nothing more I can do but keep this up everyday and hope for the best. I'm so upset I let my fish get to that point. This is not me. Is there anyway he will recover?:( can goldfish fight back even after this point from where he's laying and barely breathing? I believe in Earl.

Awe, maybe he can, just wait and see.

I have a fantail, comet and another moor. I know not the best combo with their size but planning to build a pond out back.

That's a his size tank for four goldfish. The ammonia spike probably just stressed that one out too much.

Hey on my other tank, I lost the magnet suction cup that goes to my hydor smart level ato, can I just go buy a magnet? Will they have one at walmart? Maybe one with a suction cup too?
