I bought this little frag but hoped someone would id it and tell me better care advice

I agree with salty. I keep mine in the same light and flow as my sps. You don't need to feed it directly but just make sure your tank gets fed well. They are not difficult as long as it is a photosynthetic and not a non-photosynthetic.
 
Medium. I have 2. A purple plume sea fan and a Purple Candelabra Sea Fan. My purple Candelabra grows slower than my purple plume. I'm not an expert on them by any means. If they get algae buildup they will shed and that seems to slow the growth. Keep good water parameters give it lots of light and lots of flow and some particles for it to feed on I bet you could probably get that frag a foot tall in a year.
 
I don't know what species yours is so yours may need something completely different than mine. Gorgs have many different requirements depending on the species.
