In my 120 I have a Triton Big Blue return pump and it does 1350 gph at zero head. I ran water into a bucket from the return for ten seconds and I got 6.5 cups of water. After the math it comes to 146 gph. That seems like a lot of loss for 76" of 3/4 tubing and three 90 degree elbows.

Does that seem accurate?

Remember, the maximum you can push through a 3/4" return is around 660gph. That is your starting point.

What is the head height? (Difference between sump water level and return nozzle)

Additionally if the pump had a 1” outlet then 3/4” will bring flow way way down.

I often forget the sump water part. Good reminder.
