I have 2 heads of a green branching hammer and one head looks fine but isn't completely open. The other looks like it has been bitten by my clownfish. The clownfish aren't hosting it nor have they touched it. What's happening?

Could be:
Recession
Too much flow
Pests such as nudibranch
Low calcium
