I’ve had this hammer for 8 months and started off as two heads now is 6 just split twice
The thing is just moved the coral. It’s the hardest coral to find a spot for to make happy. It’s a branching hammer I have it close to top in decent flow atm might be why it won’t open can anyone help me find the best placement in the tank for it

Same kind of hammer as this.

It’s not in same place as where it was splitting just did a rescape on tank and placed it at top of tank in a open space hadn’t really came out

If you just moved it to a new spot with new/higher light and flow, it may take a while (week or more) to adjust and start coming out. If not, try to move it back to its approximate position before the move. They are fairly adaptable IMO, just give it time. If you keep messing with it, it will stay retracted no matter where you put it.
