Help with hard Red coralline type algae

I have this red algae that many say is "mature" tank coralline. Tank 5+ years old. Everything in tank thriving just want to stop the red if possible. I use chemiclean every 3 months or so.

Has anyone figured out a way to stop it from taking over rocks, frag plugs etc?
