So I’m setting up my tank. I was waiting on a ghost overflow but they don’t have specifics on a time line and I’m not wanting to wait on one part to get my tank running. I am going to install a 90 degree corner overflow and utilize a herbie style drain drilled into the bottom of my tank. I was thinking about running a 1†line for my siphon line and a 1.5†line for my emergency valve. Could I get away with doing a 1†line for both? I’m wanting to run the return up through the overflow section as well so I don’t have any external plumbing, using 1" on both lines would save me space. Is this a realistic option or should I just drill the back of the tank for the return?

I'm using a dc6000 for the return pump as well.
