I was going to start a quarantine tank with a sponge filter to treat the tang and the two clownfish I have with Seachem cupramine, is that the correct thing to do?
I have 4 hours to buy the medicines so that they arrive tomorrow. As for eating the tang has not eaten neither flakes or pellets, so I bought the purple sea veggies, which will arrive tomorrow. I also bought seachem Garlic Guard, to try and help the tang with its immune system and appetite.
The tang has been picking the rocks, so I hope he has been eating some algae.
Thanks for the help!

Hello.
In my experience with blue tangs- they are more likely to get ick. To be honest I think mine has it right now- every so often I see a speck or two of what appears like ick. But it goes away in a day or so. I think it’s important to feed well, and keep it healthy. If it’s already in display tank I would feed nori, make sure water parameters are good and stable and watch it to see if it improves.

im No expert, but this is what I personally have experienced. Hope this helps.
