So, I received my ICP test back, could anyone please give any info on what is actually "too high" and how to lower them.
tropic marin pro reef salt used

My corals seem to do really well for the first 3 weeks then don't open anywhere near as much as they should, sometimes die

You need to upload a larger picture

Is that the complete report? Phosphorous? How old is the aquarium?

Do you use an Al based media for PO4 removal? Your Al is high - dangerous - no I do not think that. Normal iron based GFO will take down the Al figures. I always use a combine of Al and Iron based media (50/50) for PO4 removal. Of all parameters I would be more worried for the low NO3 level than anything else

below - my Al values the last 4 years

I have been using Phosguard, not sure if it is AI based or not, maybe you can tell me. (would this leach aluminium?)
My No3 is now at 5

You have several metals that are too high, copper, zinc, tin, and aluminum. The Copper zinc and tin all indicate that you have a rusting part in or above your tank or sump

I had a similar situation last year, and I can tell you this is definitely the reason why.

While you aluminum is high and is A problem, I do not think it is THE problem.

I will double check everything tonight.

I know that I had used my handheld glass scraper a few times, when changing the blade I saw it has rusted. (this was a 2-3 month back)
Could the metals be left in the tank even after 2 month?

No, that litttle bit of material would not cause an issue. Do you have any metal fittings on your water line? What kind of pumps are you using and what kind of sand? Do you have a carbon reactor that you can run?

I tried Phosguard with little result. ROWAphos seems to be the best at PO4 removal. At least for me anyhow.

I’ve just removed 2 metal jubilee clips from my uv steriliser. Wasn’t submerged in water but was above the sump, they aren’t rusted though
