i was cleaning the screen on my uv sterilizer and found some of these. their spikes went up when i moved them around. are they bristleworms?

Bristleworm don’t touch it with bare hands! Ugly little creatures I don’t like but not harmful.

Tweezers or tongs are safest as well as thick latex/dish gloves. While not welcomed in my tanks, they are regarded by many as cleaner crew as they eat uneaten food and detritus
