Hello everyone. I'm dealing with Dinos, Ostreopsis to be specific. However I've also been observing a heavy population of organisms that are much smaller. Unfortunately I messed up the 40x objective lens on my scope (haven't gotten around to replacing it yet) so the best I can do is 200x magnification. For reference you'll see an Osti or two in the video.

Please give it a view and let me know what you think the small mass of cells are that seem to be swarming the worm. I usually see those little guys moving around pretty quickly, but in this instance there are a mass of them on a critter which was an unusual finding.

P.S. Sorry for the baby crying in the background!

Try fluconnzola, it works with some of the Dino strands if not just simply make the tank dirty but controlled dirty.
Outcompeting the dinoflagellates of nutrients and smothering and macrophage bacteria consuming the dinoflagellates, gets rid of dinoflagellates.

I found peroxide worked for me against Dino’s , and not cleaning the glass for a couple of weeks , let the other Algae grow and add bacteria as well

IF you have sps in your tank I would advise against trying a 3 day blackout !

Thanks for the input everyone but I'm not really looking for guidance on dealing with the Dinos, just an ID on the small round gold/brown cells that we see swarming that worm.

Not sure what they are but seems like someone on the dino thread had a very similar looking organism. I don't recall it being as motile as yours though.
