hard to tell from the pic, but looks like Bryopsis to me. Maybe some others will chime in..

If it is floppy and folds over on itself, then it is bryopsis. If it is firm, them it's something else. Sorry I don't know what it is, but I have the firm kind in my tank and it is very slow growing and doesn't hurt anything.

Isn't green hair hair algae a different species than bryopsis? How would it change species like thay?
