Long story short. I had low nutrients and starved some of my sps. I have slowly raised NO3 and PO4 and the new levels are as follows:

NO3 15 Salifert
PO4 .09 Hanna ULR phosphorus

Please help with ID and thanks in advance for the help!

Does it blow off the rocks with a turkey baster or can you easily remove with like a toothbrush? I think I have this too and it seems to me it is either some form of film algae or cyano. I basically every few days baste it off or brush it off and it goes away or when I do a water change. It is not as much as I had before so possibly just a temporary ugly phase. Does seem to get on my zoas so I have to sometimes clean them up.

I actually was able to blow most of it off with a turkey baster. I did this before my water change on Monday. So far, it looks like it might be staying away......for now. I've been dosing vibrant, but it only clears it for a day or 2 and it comes back (dosing twice a week).

I dosed vibrant as well and this showed up after the other stuff was gone. I really think it is a film algae of some sort
