I noticed this on one if my frag plugs a week or 2 ago. It wasn't moving or consuming anything so I didn't think much of it. Last night I was looking at things and saw it had cleaned up part of the frag plug as was moving slowly. It had doubled in size also. The bottom part appears to be how it moved and eats so I assume some type of snail? The two sections above appear to be it's shell. When I first saw it there was only 1 section of that and now it has grown to 2 sections. It is about 3/8 inch in size. It seems to be staying on the plug and so far the coral doesn't seem to be bothered. 20220829_212130.jpg 20220829_212142.jpg

The vermatids I've had in the past had larger base than came out to a kind of spout for their filament. Also the ones I had were permanently attached and didn't move and they were the color of coralline. I was thinking maybe some type of limpid but could find any doing a search that looked like this.

Hmm after looking closer it does apear it may have some type of spout but I don't see any filament and it appears to be eating with its foot / mouth. I wish I could get a better pic but it in the back of a 180 g tank so I can't get closer

Is this what you’re looking to identify? It neat looking, whatever it is!!
That is it. I think shakacuz was tight about it being a vermatid. I looked closer and saw the spout on top of the shell. Also it was firmly attached to the frag plug like vermatids attach. It's gone now whatever it was. Had vermatids before and do not want them again. They aren't terrible but I have had the irritate corals before.
