Not sure what type of coral this is, so I thought I'd post here on this forum to find out.

I am not sure...a variety of perhaps.......I showed someone a picture of it and they said it might be a Bernardpora. Never heard of that.
 
Count the "fingers" on each polyp. I believe a goni has 13 and an alveopora has 8? I'm sure someone will correct me if I have the polyp count wrong.

Goni’s have over 13, I believe it’s closer to 20-30 ‘fingers’ (If you cant count them it’s likely to be Goni).

That looks like a goniopora for sure possibly alviopira. Count the fingers if there’s 24 it’s a Goni and if there is 12 it’s an Alvi.
