Help with ID this coral

I am not sure...a variety of perhaps.......I showed someone a picture of it and they said it might be a Bernardpora. Never heard of that.

Count the "fingers" on each polyp. I believe a goni has 13 and an alveopora has 8? I'm sure someone will correct me if I have the polyp count wrong.

Goni’s have over 13, I believe it’s closer to 20-30 ‘fingers’ (If you cant count them it’s likely to be Goni).

That looks like a goniopora for sure possibly alviopira. Count the fingers if there’s 24 it’s a Goni and if there is 12 it’s an Alvi.

Normally is Goni 24 and Alve 12ish

Knew it was something like that, just couldn't remember the actual count.

Yep, short polyps have me leaning towards bernardpora. Beautiful colony there btw

There’s also bernardapora however I can’t remember the count you generally need to ID them.
