Not really any clearer I'll try to get a better one in the morning when the lights come on

I looked at images of goni and found one that looks just like mine. Thank you. Now I can read more about it and how to care for it.

Dang seems like they r hard to take care of. Hope mine doesn't die

Phytoplankton is the key
Mix with some reef chili or reef roids should do the trick

they eat reef roids?!
Im in love with those lol I always thought they were too hard to keep

I'm feeding twice a week. I'm not even sure what the name of the food is but my lfs recommended it. The coral seems to be doing really good. I've had it about a month and it has a bunch of small babies now that were not there when I bought it.

I am not sure if they eat mysis but most powdery types of coral foods will work most feed couple times a week spot feeding like most other non photosynthetic corals

I feed phyto, should I supplement with reef chili? I just learned about it tonight. Is that something you would alternate feeding? One day phyto one day reef chili? Right now I'm doing phyto every 2-3 days. Just a little bit

@audikers welcome to r2r :-)

Just feed a mixture and feed often I like reef chili it's cheaper than reef roids and last longer but thats just my opinion

Well something I have come to realize in this saltwater world is everyone has an opinion. I am just taking all the info I can and trying to formulate my own at this point! It's been a lot of info all at once. I'm trying to retain and learn as much as I can as fast as I can!

I have a whole shelf full of foods I try to vary what I feed cause let's face it if you was in a pool all day eating chicken eventually you would hate chicken lol

As for phyto I have it on a doser and I manually dose zooplankton
