Not to sure, but looks like some kind of clove polyp.

My guess is some kind of a gonipora in the front & aiptasia sticking out right behind it.

It's a beauty what ever it is that is for sure, not some thing I would remove just yet.

Couple questions

1. Blow some flow it's way and lets see what it looks like retracted, if there is no skeletal structure than it's an octocoral (looks to have 8 tentacles to each polyp head) can you confirm that? Need to see what it looks like closed to rule in or out certain coral types.
2. It started growing on the piece or it came to you with that unknown?

I'll look around at some resources and see if I can narrow it down.

Looks like a Clavularia sp. to my eyes.

I agree with Tahoe, looks like some kind of Octocoral which could be a lot of things. We need to see the underlying(if any) skeletal structure. Make it close up and give us a new pic. And get rid of that aiptasia behind it!

I would guess the same or close, need to see the mat growth structure seen with Clavularia to be certain.

I think it came in on the Brain but I am not 100% sure. I blasted it a few times with a turkey baster but it didn’t have much effect. Here is another picture.
