Could be skin flukes and the marks are contact wounds from scraping. Consider doing a freshwater dip to either confirm or eliminate flukes as the cause.

Do you have any antibiotics? Angels and Butterflies are somewhat prone to "red sores" that show up rapidly and need to be addressed quickly. My first choice is NFG powder or Furan2 as a close second.

No antibiotics I’ll get some ASAP. I did treat with prazipro in case it is flukes. Thank you for the responses. Can I treat Furan2 and prazipro together?

Yes, you can use them together. The problem is the timing of the water changes.
PraziPro: Dose and then wait 5-7 days. Then 25% water change. Dose again and wait 5-7 days. Then 25% water change. Always run a powerhead aimed up at the surface where it is actively rippling the surface water to increase O2 as PraziPro contains a chemical, Oxybispropanol, that robs the water of O2 to the point where it can affect the fish's breathing.
So timing the Prazi water change with the Furan2 can get tricky. The Prazi does most of its work the first 24 hours or so and then declines rapidly.

Ok sounds good one last question. I turned the protein slimmer off (it’s a hang on back). I know it will foam like crazy. Question is when can I resume skimming or should I not run it for the entire treatment period.
