Help with ID

[Nairshire Reef]

Pretty sure these are some form of Dinoflagellate. If anyone can tell me which one, I would appreciate it.

Looks like LCA (Large Cell Amphidinium) to me. Silciate dosing with water glass, balancing nutrients and dosing phyto is the best way to treat this one IME. Fortunately it's not toxic.

Ok. We have one vote for Ostreopsis and one for LCA.
I should add that these Dino's love the sand bed and glass. They do not appear to like the rockwork. They do "disappear" after lights out and return during the day. Turbo snails remove most from the glass but, do not seem interested in Dino's on sand bed.

This is large cell amphidium and one of the easier to battle. Prepare by blowing this stuff loose with a turkey baster and siphon up loose particles. Turn lights off (at least white and run blue at 10-15% IF you have light dependant corals) for 5 days and at night dose 1ml of 3% hydrogen peroxide per 10 gallons for all 5 nights. If you dont have light dependent coral- turn all lights off. During the day dose 1ml of liquid bacteria (such as micro bacter 7 or XLM) per 10 gallons. Clean filters daily and DO NOT FEED CORAL FOODS OR ADD NOPOX
