Can anyone help with identifying these. We have only one type of each shrimp - cleaner, peppermint and fire. We have hermit crabs and two emerald crabs.

We haven’t introduced anything for a while but spotted these in the rocks today.

Any help on identification would be amazing.

I see what looks like a dying hammer coral and some coraline and possible cyano in the tank

It’s not coral is the media that comes in the biorb tank. It’s the clear/white animal to the middle, bottom of the tank. I will try and get a better picture but they are quick

I have a ton of them I have a firefish that loves to eat em

It is definitely an amphipod. I also have a ton of them that started eating my corals and my copepods:(. Your shrimp will be in for a tasty snack tho

Amphipod yes and considered free food for fish and coral

Thanks so much for your help everyone :)

I don’t know where they have come from.

Guessing this is no problem for the tank and will be eaten by other things?
