Help with identification.

This is growing all over in my tank. Has been growing for months. Spread all over but the pieces don't get any larger. Does anyone know what it may be?

Some type of sponge. Pretty common in tanks. It’s harmless unless it starts annoying coral, then just scrape it off.

I do have it on the rock surface, I don’t bother it. Curious to know if this make any good in reef tank, otherwise I will get rid of it.

It doesn't seem to bother coral that I have noticed but it doesn't really scrape off so I don't k own how I would remove it if it was bothering them.

A razor blade could get it off.
