The top seem to be Colonial Tunicates and the bottom seems to be kelp.

Are the Colonial Tunicates an issue in a tank? Harmful or helpful? I'll go research them now... I figured the kelp was from m nori sheets and a good thing to have growing?

Great! Good to know. Whew! Thanks for the quick reply. I wasn't too concerned about the kelp, unless it will be an issue later (invasive?) For now, I figured it will be nice to have live food growing in the tank.
It was the Colonials that had me worried.
