hi all - my jawbreaker mushroom recently has sort of just remained more closed up than it used to be. a few weeks ago, it stayed open to about 1.25-1.5 inches across, but it has stayed only at around a bit less than a quarter size for a few weeks. it did get more red though. I also have baby JBs that are kind of doing the same thing, they are smaller than they used to be and arent opening up as much.
tank is a 28 gallon nano cube, no skimmer. softy tank. all the babies and the mother did infact detach and float around before I put them into the little cups.

I attached pics

bump, health is still deteriorating - now is starting to bleach. I moved it into my 180 gallon next to my other green discosoma mushrooms but it just detached.... so I moved it into a cup at the bottom but it didnt attach - moved it back into my 28 gallon. After it started to bleach I cut lighting down 3 hours, now am running 9 hours of light instead of 12. I have perfectly healthy bounce rhodactuses next to it but it is still deteriorating. any help is appreciated

Is your light too bright for it...? not so much photo period but intensity.

I moved it into my 180 right next to my other discosoma shrooms that are doing good, ill see how ti does

Worst case scenario, i can nurse it for you temporarily... unless rock_lobster is local to the Bay Area as well (or if you want to sell it to me) :)

I have a bit of luck keeping shrooms... :) .. just no guarantees and all that disclaimer stuff.
