Help with Kalk Stirrer

Looking for help with my Avast Marine Kalk Stirrer. I want to hook it up to my Tunze ATO. If the ATO pump is higher than the stirrer it continues to siphon into the stirrer, if I put the stirrer higher than the ATO or at the same height, water with slurry back siphons into the ATO tank. I also tried putting in a "T" connection and raised another line up to the display to cause a break but this just causes the ATO pump to fill with air and then not work.

Any suggestions on how to set this stirrer up to the ATO pump and not have back siphon issues?

I had the same problem I also have a avast marine kalk stirrer since it is not sealed on top I always ran into problems I ended up putting the kalkstirrer higher than my pump and bought a cheaper doser from brs and used it that way works like a charm now you can also put kalkstirrer directly in sump to, the doser is also the safer route.

I may have to give that a whirl then. I'll try and raise the stirrer up even higher and see what happens

Also heard of people placing stirrer directly in a sump chamber just like you would out your skimmer in never did it this way but would work
