OK, if you have seen my build thread you know I am an extreme newbie venturing into a reef tank with my students in my classroom. We have a Kenya tree hat is dropping pieces. we have tried to glue those pieces to rubble and place back in the tank but they seem immune to super glue. We have glued them three times let it set even held the piece of rubble up by the Kenyans so we know the rubble was attached. All three times with in 24 hours the rubble is vacant and the Kenya frags (All three) are free floating again. How do i make these things stay put? is t his doable? or should I let them float around and go where they want?

Just rubberband it loosely. You don't want it so tight that it's going to sever or cut into the coral.

Eventually the coral will attach to the rock on its own, then the rubber band can be removed. The rubber band will just keep it still long enough for it to do so.

I went with the rubber band method!!!
