I hate that this is myfirst post here. Anyways-My large (12" long) Dogface puffer accidentally puffed with last night. We were transferring him from one tank another, he puffed and got air in him.

He was floating because of this little larger than a golf ball size air pocket. We tried some of the methods that we found on the web, like massaging the air pocket but it just moves around and never comes out. I have him back in a QT, and made him a cave that he can stay under and not float around. At this point he is not swimming, and I feel we have a emergency here.

What options or other methods can I use to help him out?

thanks.

Bump for someone that may can help!

Well I have good news, All is with our puffer, I got him out of my makeshift cave ad he had expelled the bubble!

I was ready for the worst, but he seems to be ok now!

That's terrific news! Any pictures to share? I really hope to have a dogface puffer some day. Love those adorable faces!
